This commitment to quality combined with a new warehouse investment led to tremendous growth for Stateside, prompting the need for a new business system. The system needed to allow for more efficient operations, unrestricted expansion, simpler interactions with customers and suppliers and more proactive customer marketing and business information production.
Stateside Skates had very clear project objectives including the need to speed up order processing, improve the efficiency of picking and despatch processes, reduce duplication of effort and engage more directly more customers. Shortly after going live with our specialist Order Management system, Stateside were able to vastly improve their efficiency of order handling during the busy Christmas trading period.
PrimaNet Trade Web has also proved key in streamlining processing and improving customer service levels, allowing customers to place remote orders via a modern, branded web-based online ordering system. This allows customers to seamlessly process orders, make enquiries on order progress and check stock levels and prices.
What is more, a specialist scanning solution has also improved efficiency within the despatch process whereby handheld scanners are used to pick, pack and despatch customer orders to add accuracy and speed, thereby reducing the number of returns and queries. The single view of stock across the business means Stateside know exactly what stock it has, what is already committed to customer orders, what is free-to-sell and where every item is located at any time.
Spanning the entire business, our PrimaNet solution provides an integrated system covering sales and purchase order processing, product management, stock control and planning, despatch management, carrier integration, customer management and marketing. The solution also incorporates PrimaNet OpenAccounts and Business Objects to create specialist, real-time strategic reporting and KPI measurements across the business.
