The luxury British brand established in the 1970s, Mulberry is renowned worldwide for its craftsmanship and quality with rapidly growing demand for it’s high quality products. The brand is traditionally famous for an extensive line of luxury bags for men and women that combine stylish design with the finest leathers and detailing. Whilst 90% of sales are generated from core accessories products, Mulberry has also grown to encompass womenswear, menswear, interior design soft furnishings and wall coverings.

With growth, structural change and the challenges of multi channel afoot, Mulberry needed to streamline their business operations to support their ambitious growth plans. The goal was to implement an enterprise-wide and completely integrated business solution where data processing was done online using one core database, to improve efficiency and reduce errors. Electing a steering committee with managers from all business areas, a detailed decision-making process was undertaken with demonstrations, workshops and evaluations, from which PrimaNet was chosen as the ultimate solution with our team’s specialist expertise.

As part of a substantial change programme, PrimaNet replaced all of Mulberry’s operational systems including retail, merchandising, wholesale and distribution, planning, manufacturing and sourcing. Significant pre-implementation testing and a comprehensive management process helped us to minimise the risks of such an intensively large project.
